Once again the Google "professors" have been tirelessly working inside their secret labs to bring us some brand new, and very useful applications. Let's take a look at some of Google Labs newest projects that you need to know about! This one is early into it's life cycle but what this ingenious application will do when it is finalized is pretty special. You may have come across a piece of technology that takes a digital photo of some text, and then transforms it into text that can be manipulated on a text editor. This technology forms the basis of the Goggles application, except instead of text, users will take a photo of a place or landmark they do not know, and the application will be able to identify it for them! If this wasn't enough, it will do it in whichever language you want, making it a vital bit of kit for anyone who likes to travel! With millions of applications being downloaded everyday it is quite clear that the application market is booming. Now Google Labs is giving everyone the chance to develop their own android apps without having any previous programming knowledge. It is unclear how technologically advance users applications will be, however it will provide newbie developers a great step into the market. Don't you just hate that feeling of frustration when you need the answer to a question but just can't find it online? With Aardvark you will never be found banging your fists in fury again! Type any question into this clever application and within minutes you will have your answer. This is going to be a quiz masters nightmare! This is sure to be a big hit with consumers! This application is not too far removed from Google Goggles, except that this is aimed at shoppers. Seen something you like in the store? Simply take a photo of it and this application will go and find all the latest news and reviews so you can see if it is worth the money! Not only that, but it will also tell you where to find the product at the best price giving you the opportunity to save money every time you shop. This application will save users a ton of time and frustration! With so many applications being downloaded our phones are becoming swamped with different apps, tracks, and videos. Finding what you are looking for can be a real pain. With Gesture search all you need to do is write the first few letters of the item you are looking for onto the screen, and it will throw up all of the apps with those letters, until you narrow it down to the exact app you were looking for. No more flicking through endless menus to find your favourite sports game! A great tool for those that love to write. It can be very annoying to get so far into a piece of writing only to be struck by the dreaded "writers block". This application uses the same technology as the auto complete feature on search, and will auto suggest words or phrases based on the structure and set up of your sentence as you write. It will recognize the words you have used so far and will search through it's database to find phrases or sentences that would logically follow! Many of these apps are still in early development, but with the Google techies hard at work, who knows what amazing invention they will come up with next!
